I want to run a 5K!

I am going to start by walking 3 times per week with my husband. He's my walking buddy.

That's fantastic! I spin 3 times a week, sometimes 4 and lift weights 2 days a week. We just got a puppy, but he is walking short distances still. I have asthma, but my husband thinks that with walking ~ 5miles and then incorporating short runs in there, I can do it. I do love the motivation Virda - great to hear you are running a 5k once a month! 
I try to run a 5K at least once a month and I walk my three puppies everyday with my husband
