Increase my daily exercise to 30-60 minutes a day

I have a hard time getting myself to workout on workdays particular in the winter when it is dark when I leave home and when I leave work. I am committed to, at least taking a 30 minute walk everyday. I hope to be able to include some muscle building activities as well on days that I am off of work
