It's that time of year again!!!  I recently started to go to the gym 3 days a week at 5a.m.  My plan is to increase the number of days a week to 4 or 5 days a week.

I will do something physical at least 3 days a week. Even if it’s only 15 minutes d/t schedule conflict.

Starting January 2nd, I will park in a distant lot (1.2 miles each way) and walk to work and back at least 3 times a week.  I practiced this morning (-10F) and felt refreshed and ready for work!

I am making a commitment to stay healthy and not text while driving. I am ready to try some fun exercises like swimming!

In 2018, I resolve to exercise for at least 30 minutes, at least three times a week. I plan on achieving this by measuring my exercise on my FitBit tracker, looking for variety in my exercise routines (walking, running, swimming, strength training, yoga, other fitness classes, etc!), scheduling time for exercise into my week, and keeping myself ...

My resolution is to run 1000 miles in 2018.

In 2017 I've lost 80lbs as a part of the Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation focus.  All of that was through changed eating habits (not exercise).  I have never been a fit person, or involved in sports.  In 2018 I commit to exploring physical fitness and making it as much of a priority as I've made healthy eating in 2017.  In order to do this I'll need to continue to ...

I'm committed to making exercise a priority.

I turn 50 in April and am committing to more physical activity and attaining a healthy BMI.

I have accepted a challenge with some of my peers to run at least 1 mile a day for the next 40 days.  We stared on Thanksgiving and go until New Years.  So far so good.  I now run 1.5  miles a day.  I'm still sore everyday, but it is starting to feel good to run.

I commit to exercising at least 30 minutes per day.

I will work up to my first 5k by the end of the year!

MRI results are back and survey says-- arthritis, partially torn thingamababobbers, torn other-thingamabobbers, cysts, blah blah blah. So I was tossed from a horse 11 months ago and fractured my acetabulum which winds up coming with "extra surprises" such as traumatic arthritis. It's been painful and literally debilitating, as in I lost alot of ...

I will maintain my curent gym activity, if not increase my activity level. I will replace more cardio with active family activities like hiking.

I sling a few pails of water around everyday, but would benefit from a more thoughtful muscle-building program.  Need to keep the bones strong and myself able to do the things that matter to me :)

Work out 4-5 times a week starting in December

I commit to taking a minimum of 10,000 steps a day starting November 18, 2017 to the end of the year. Last hurrah for 2017!

Committed to begin an exercise routine daily - taking breaks every couple of hours to perform 5-10 minutes of exercise/stretching. Walk 1 hr starting at 2-3 times/week with husband/friends.

The most important right now. I am committed to taking a walk whenever possible with Cheppa and doing 3.1 miles on Friday 11/24th.

In the process of doing more exercise. I am determined to do more regular exercise during the week instead of only once a week.

I will commit to bringing my own healthy foods, snacks, and treats. When I have my own food, I'm pleased with my choices and overall eat more healthy because I get to control it.

I am committing to more physical activity and strengthening activities to be a healthier me!

I commit to an exercise regime of 3 times weekly for 30 minutes over next 6 months.

I have increased my steps everyday and have other nurses calling me at 11am to "walk with me". Try that 3 way call when your walking alone because your not alone. Robin

Goal: 10,000 steps/day

I commit to resuming my running workouts, one mile at a time.  A knee injury and giant ovarian cyst set me back after a Tough Mudder last fall.  Time to dress for a run, go for a "walk" and get back into stride on my 4 mile running loop around the lake!  It's a small step towards future goals of a half marathon.

I commit to walking 1000 steps more each day over the next week than I currently walk.

I have formed a team to participate in an upcoming walk to raise money for Lymphoma research. Join my team to help fight a deadly disease.  Or you can donate!  Go to Az lymphoma and join my team-Mayo Clinic Arizona.  Eileen

My commitment to a healthier way of living is consistently exercising!

Looking at my steps history, I usually average around 10,000 while I'm at work, but when I'm off, it's more like 4,000-5,000. To keep my average up I challenge myself to meet that 9,000 steps everyday!

I have been saying for a few years now that I need to get back into exercising! Getting older and a slowly metabolism is taking its toll. I have to just do it! I need to just do it! Working full time and being in school is taking away from my "me time" but I have to dedicate time for healthy eating and exercise!

You can do it!

@katpash You've got this! It's hard at first finding a good spot scheduling -wise but give it some time. I truly disliked waking up and working out right away at first, but once I got into the rhythm of it, it really made my days a lot better.

Great work Jaymee! It definitely gets trickier to find the time for working out, working, and taking care and spending time with our families. I recently had to switch up my schedule and have been struggling to get my workout back in a spot that works for me. Good luck and great work!
