I have increased my steps everyday and have other nurses calling me at 11am to "walk with me". Try that 3 way call when your walking alone because your not alone. Robin

Goal: 10,000 steps/day

I commit to resuming my running workouts, one mile at a time.  A knee injury and giant ovarian cyst set me back after a Tough Mudder last fall.  Time to dress for a run, go for a "walk" and get back into stride on my 4 mile running loop around the lake!  It's a small step towards future goals of a half marathon.

I commit to walking 1000 steps more each day over the next week than I currently walk.

I have formed a team to participate in an upcoming walk to raise money for Lymphoma research. Join my team to help fight a deadly disease.  Or you can donate!  Go to Az lymphoma and join my team-Mayo Clinic Arizona.  Eileen

I commit to working out for at least 30 minutes 6 days a week!

I joined a health and fitness center recently, and I am committed to going at least three times per week for at least 30 minutes. I feel so much better when I go; the first ten minutes are a challenge, but then the feel-good hormones begin to take effect and makes me feel GREAT!

Water intake:  I will drink one 8 oz glass of water with every meal and one additional glass in the evening.

I will increase my exercise to three times per week, including at least two crossfit sessions.

Commit to do more physical activity to reduce cholesterol and to avoid diabetes type 2

My commitment to a healthier way of living is consistently exercising!

Looking at my steps history, I usually average around 10,000 while I'm at work, but when I'm off, it's more like 4,000-5,000. To keep my average up I challenge myself to meet that 9,000 steps everyday!

I have been saying for a few years now that I need to get back into exercising! Getting older and a slowly metabolism is taking its toll. I have to just do it! I need to just do it! Working full time and being in school is taking away from my "me time" but I have to dedicate time for healthy eating and exercise!

Join me and Mayo Clinic in this annual walk to beat lymphoma one step at a time. 2017 Arizona Lymphoma Walk MAYO CLINIC ARIZONA Welcome to Team Mayo Clinic! Now you're one of the "lymphomies". Between  work and school, I feel like all my downtime is full of homework and sleep! I need to get back to the gym because when I'm not at work getting thousands of steps, I'm at home getting none. I commit to rejoining my gym this month and starting back towards a regular exercise regime!!

I will walk 4-5 days/week plus play volleyball every available Saturday.

10,000 steps a day, about 5 miles has been recommended for health maintenance.  Some days I get this in with regular daily activities, some days I do not.  I commit to monitoring my steps for 2 weeks, calculating an average and then I will intentionally increase my steps by 10%  in the following 2 weeks.

If not transporting patients I commit to taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

I have lossed substancial amount of weight and have gained a little back.  I am committed to start exercising more to lose the weight I gained back and to tone up.  I need this to help me to feel stronger and happier about my body image.

I will commit to doing HIIT (Interval training exercises) or a SPIN class at miminal 3x/week starting this month of October. I will commit to completing my last 8 pre-paid sessions with my personal trainer during this month of October.

Now that I'm done studying for the NCLEX all the time, because I PASSED, I commit to including physical exercise into my still busy week.  I'll begin with at least getting out and walking 1-2 days/week and will build up from there.
