It's day 2 of the Hydration Challenge

Today's tip is to make agua your appetizer.

Do you pour a glass of coffee every morning on auto-pilot? Try to do the same for water. Before you drink any other liquid, have a snack, or dig into a meal, drink a glass of water. It’s an easy way to remember to drink up. Plus, having water before a meal or snack can fill you up, so you eat less, which may aid in weight loss

Find water to be a boring appetizer? Infuse your water or your ice with fruits, veggies, or herbs. You’ll be more likely to pour yourself a glass when your water and/or ice have some flavor and the pitcher looks inviting.

For infused water, give some of these ideas from All Recipes a try. Here’s how to make flavored ice cubes and they’ll add even more flavor to your drink as they melt. Try to keep sugar content to a minimum, but experiment with combinations of herbs and fruit or use plain frozen fruit, like lemon slices, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries or melon balls.

RNWehwee‍ I have a couple other citrus oils from doterra - I don't know why I didn't think to try those! I'll have to take a look at the Slim & Sassy! Its sounds great!
MysG‍ You'll get there! Some of the nurses on the main board were talking about setting timers to remind themselves to drink. Maybe that could help!

I add lemon usually. I haven’t had near enough water today only about 40oz.

ChristiM‍ I use doTerra Slim & Sassy.  It tastes great and is supposed to help speed your metabolism.  I don't know that it actually does that but it tastes so good I crave water all day long.  It has Grapefruit Peel, Lemon Peel, Peppermint Plant, Ginger Root, and Cinnamon.  It isn't spicy at all, mostly it's just a bright citrusy taste

RNWehwee‍ What oils have you added? I've only tried lemon. Do you have other recommendations?

I do best with room temp. water.  I find I can drink more volume that way.  I add essential oils to it for taste.  I drank 80 oz on day 2!

I like plain old water that is chilled for sure.  Occasionally I drink flavored sparkling water unsweetened.  But mostly just plain water.  Still getting my goal water in plus sometime a bit extra.  Loving this challenge.
