Plan Your Next Vacation
Published
It's day 4 of the Bring in the Joy challenge.
Taking vacation is good for your health and well-being. And it’s not just the time off work, but also anticipating your trip that makes it so joyful. Even if you’re not ready to plan your vacation, start thinking of where you’d like to go and what you’d like to do.
Not ready for a weeklong trip? Then add something fun to your calendar. Brainstorm about the next family reunion, take the kids in your life bowling or ice skating, get tickets to a comedy show or concert, or schedule a date night. Research suggests that anticipating a fun event contributes to its joy.
