Eat Water-Rich Fruits & Veggies
Published
Today is day 8 of the Hydration Challenge! Today's tip is to eat water-rich fruits and veggies.
Many fruits and vegetables are close to 90 percent water. Include these types of high-water content produce in your meals or as snacks for added hydration:
Vegetables | Fruit |
Cucumber | Watermelon |
Lettuce | Strawberries |
Celery | Grapefruit |
Radishes | Apricots |
Tomatoes | Cherries |
Bell Peppers | Grapes |
Zucchini | Oranges |
Tossing some of these fruits and vegetables in a salad is a great way to get in more water and at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables in a day. What are some other ideas for achieving both?
