Take Your Online Workout Class Outdoors

Ever since the pandemic started and gyms closed, many people started doing online workouts at home. Even after gyms opened back up, some stayed home to exercise. If that’s you, keep yourself from getting stagnant by taking your online exercise outdoors.

Take your laptop, tablet, or mobile device out onto your patio, deck, porch, or backyard. Set it up in an easy-to-see place. Turn up the volume, select your workout, and get to it. BONUS: Not only are you moving, you’re also getting some fresh air and sunshine! Invite a friend (or even the kiddos) to participate with you for added socialization.

If you don’t usually workout online, you can find tons of free (or paid) exercise classes with a quick search. YouTube is a perfect place to find exercises like:
  • 10-minute cardio workout
  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • HIIT (high intensity interval training)
  • Body weight exercises
  • Zumba®
  • Dumbbell exercises

The cool thing about online workouts is if you press play and don’t like it, you can always go back to your search to find something different. Your options are endless.
