Try An Active Sport

If you’re a competitive person who loves physical activity that doesn’t feel like exercise, today’s challenge is perfect for you.
There are many fun, indoor sports that also count as aerobic activity because they get the heart pumping. Pickleball is a popular example. As a combination of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, it’s easier to learn than tennis because you serve underhand (similar to throwing a bowling ball), the paddles are smaller, and the plastic balls have less bounce.
If pickleball sounds fun to you, grab a friend and head to your local recreation center. If it’s not your cup of tea, consider one of these other indoor sports:
Getting active doesn’t mean you have to run on a treadmill or do push-ups and crunches. Sports are a fantastic way to get moving while having fun and make memories. Whatever active sport you choose today, we’re rooting for you!
