Nutrition for night nurses

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away". Ok done. Hah. How about those 3am donuts? And the 4 cups of coffee everyday? All these cans of energy drinks have got to be bad if I feel guilty buying them. This pretty much sums up my night time nutrition intake for the past year and 2 months. I hereby commit to drinking 2 cups of coffee (baby steps), and no more energy drinks (I will miss you taurine!). Also, healthy night shift snacks- veggies, fruits (ok, apples) and more water. I admit, I hold myself from drinking water during work just to keep bathroom breaks to a minimum. Will start with 1 bottle of water/shift. I think I can handle that. :)healthynursehealthynation
