Eating to Live and Not Living to Eat
Published
Food is a BIG part of our lives, but more times than not, food dominates my life. Instead of being an asset, it hinders me and my goals. Because of this I want to be more disciplined in my eating habits. To eat foods that make me feel/do better while also enjoying it. I am also wanting to eventually become a vegetarian, so my goals are curated to eventually reach this goal.
I will do this by incorporating fruits or vegetables in every single meal that I eat. I must have at least one seving of a raw fruit or vegetable in every meal. I already eat fruit pretty regularly, but raw vegetables not so much. Soda is already a rare occurance for me, but other non-carbonated sugary drinks is something I want to cut back on. I will allow myself to have no more than 24oz of these drink a week. I will drink 64oz of water a day instead. I will reduce my meat intake as I try to transition myself into being a vegetarian. Instead, I will increase my protein intake by eating more beans and nuts.
