Commitment to Nutrition
Published
Nutrition is incredibly important in growth and development but is also a vital element in preventing negative health outcomes. In the world we live in today, nutritional options have expanded to include many things such as bioengineered ingredients, chemically-treated fruits and vegetables, artificially flavored drinks, highly processed foods, and more. While some nutritional labels may look appropriate to eat, this movement toward ultra-proccessed foods has led to the development of chronic health issues including increased inflammation, weight gain, obesity and type 2 diabetes, nutritional deficiencies and toxins, poor skin health, etc. I am making a commitment to prioritizing eating nutrient-dense whole foods which are easily broken down and absorbed by the body.
