Committment to Prioritizing Sleep

As nurses we are tasked with bringing the strongest and best version of ourselves to work every day to be in service to others. Often, this takes a toll on our own mental and physical health. I know that when I am not prioritizing sleep - every other self care goal I have in my life or where I seek to find balance and strength falls apart immediately. I am now making a committment to prioritize sleep and rest, and give myself the grace to know that I am worth it and it is the most simple thing I can do to help everything in my life get better a day at a time be showing up for myself in this way.
