Commitment to Quality of Life

Published
After working fulltime through nursing school, I pretty much was deprived from enjoyable aspects of my life due to spending all my time at school, studying, homework, and working at my job. Basically I became burnt out by the time I graduated nursing school. By focusing on my quality of life I am also committing to self care. While I'm not at work my goal is to do the things that make me happy and feel more like myself again. Things like seeing friends and family, traveling, exploring new restaurants, watching movies/shows, reading new books, and having new experiences. It's easy to lose this part of life when time is devoted to work, but I think it's necessary to maintain and should hold a lot of value.
