Congratulations, you made it to the last day of the Mindful Movement Challenge, powered by Humana!
We hope you enjoyed getting active while focusing on your mental health this past week and a half. While we’ve reached the end of the challenge, your mindful movement doesn’t have to stop here. In fact, we encourage you to keep your physical activity as mindful as possible. The evidence shows that people who exercise have fewer days of poor mental health compared to similar people who didn’t exercise. Your entire body — physical, mental, and emotional — needs movement.
Use the past 10 days as a foundation to build upon. Continue to:
- Get your heart rate up at least 30 minutes each day
- While exercising, focus on your breath and the activity at hand
- Try new forms of movement, like group classes or online videos
- Prioritize your mental health
