It’s time to pause and review your efforts over the past 8 days. Identifying what’s working (and what’s not) can make the difference when it comes to lasting habit change. You can’t improve what you don’t understand. An audit of your hydration routine will show where you can tweak and adapt new behaviors to make your water habit stick.

Review your hydration routine so far. Look for patterns. For instance:
- Did you hit your hydration goal on workdays but forget on weekends?
- Did you prefer one water bottle or type of beverage over another?
- Did your tracking efforts help you or hinder you from reaching your goals?
Write down ways you can adjust what didn’t work for you and implement those changes today and tomorrow.
Noticing the positive and negative helps you duplicate the habits and tools that support you — and tweak the ones that don’t. Creating a healthy hydration habit is not about perfection. It’s about learning, adapting, and making your water intake fit your life so it sticks for the long haul.
