Connect With Nature
Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to remember how important it is to take care of our planet. Taking a few moments out of our day to watch a sunset, listen to birdsong, or breathe in fresh air reminds us of the incredible world we inhabit.
It also shows us what we stand to lose by failing to stop climate change. And that is motivation indeed.
Your Action for Today
Spend 10 mindful minutes outside. Use each of your senses as you take in the natural world around you. Let this experience remind you of your purpose as a steward for initiatives that improve climate health.
Bonus Action: Nature is meant to be shared. Invite a coworker to take a short break or eat lunch outside with you.
Allow the beauty of our planet to inspire gratitude, awareness, and a sense of responsibility to protect it.
