Day 2 — Identify Your Steps to Success
Now that you have a desired healthy outcome for 2026, use the SMART criteria to create the actions you’ll take to achieve it. Think of these as actions as “mini goals” or steps on your path to success.
The SMART framework helps you focus on actions that are:
- Specific: For instance, if your goal is hydration, focus on what you need to do to become hydrated. When and how will you ensure you drink enough water each day?
- Measurable: Use numbers — i.e., you’ll walk 3 miles, take 10,000 steps, or eat 1 cup of vegetables at every meal.
- Attainable: Your actions need to be realistic to set yourself up for success.
- Relevant: Each action should tie directly back to your “why.”
- Time-bound: Give yourself a deadline so you’ll act quickly and prevent procrastination.
Your Action for Tonight
Using the SMART framework, identify and write down the actions you need to achieve your “why” from Day 1. These actions, along with your “why,” will inspire your vision board.
