In the hustle and bustle of your day, it's easy to turn mealtime into multitasking. Between patient care, paperwork, and buzzing pagers, you might find yourself grabbing a quick bite while simultaneously doing other tasks.

The catch? Multitasking during meals can lead to overeating and hinder your ability to make nutritious choices.

When you're glued to a screen or engrossed in work while eating, you're less likely to pay attention to your body's hunger and fullness cues. This distraction could lead to mindless overeating because your brain doesn't register the satisfaction that comes with each bite.
