Day 9 — Healing After Harm

Safety is not only about preventing harm. It is also about restoring well-being after it occurs. Experiencing or witnessing workplace violence can leave lasting effects. Even incidents that seem “minor” can accumulate over time.

Healing and support are part of safety.

Your Action for Today
Today, focus on one small moment of support. Consider the following:

  • Talk with someone you trust
  • Take a few moments to decompress
  • Acknowledge what you’ve carried

Your experience matters. Consider checking in with a colleague who may have experienced a difficult interaction recently. A simple “Are you okay?” can reinforce that no one is alone in these situations.

Join us on day 10: A sneak peek - Think about one way you can contribute to a culture of safety moving forward.
