Weight loss

Published
I gained 80 pounds on top of an alteady overweight body, after taking prednisone for 9 years, for an autoimmune disease.
I need a total knee replacement, but I need to lose 50 pounds first. I am trying hard to lose the weight, but it is a slow process since my activity is limited by my knee, a lot of spine issues and SI joint issues. Pool exercices are my friend.

Keep at it. I lost 20 pounds with Weight Watchers and highly recommend it. You don't have to eliminate the foods you like you just have to make good choices and eat proper amounts. I had a total hip replacement one year ago. You will get there! And you will feel better and more energetic when you are done. Good luck!!

@Cheryl Lynn Alberternst You've got this! Having a friend swim with you as an accountability buddy could be helpful (and make it more fun!)
