My quality of life improved when I changed my weekly Thank you journal to include daily thank you notes to others. Today's thank you note is to ANA for Healthy Nurse Healthy Nation for the email reminders that remind me to keep all areas of my life balanced.

My husband and I are both nurses and both teach at school. We have 4 kids and the whole week is just pretty busy. Because of this, we decide to be "Weekend warriors". Whether it be an airbnb weekend in a small town 2 hours away, or a visit to the nearest theme park. We just make sure to spend good quality family time together! 

So I always make sure I leave reusable bags in the trunk of my car! That way, I'm always prepared to use them again and again when I go grocery shopping. One tip I want to share is once you unload groceries, make sure you put those bags back to the trunk! :)

I commit to Spending more time with family. Since beginning night shift I have been struggling with balancing my time, as most of my time is consumed by sleep. I want to aim to spend more quality time with my family because I truly feel my best when I am with them.

After taking months off, I decided it was time to get back into using the meditation "Calm" app. I'm just 3 days in and I can already tell a difference. I start my fast past days with more of a level head and don't feel as stressed throughout the day. This is great encouragement to continue the trend of morning meditation even on the weekends :-)
