Fit by Fifty
Published
I’ve made a commitment to myself to get fit before I reach the age of fifty. I was topping 205 pounds at 5’1” tall and doing a lot of emotional eating. As a psychiatric nurse who often counsels people with addictions I could see both the irony and the hypocrisy. So far I’ve lost 8 pounds, two shirt sizes and two pant sizes. I’ve been avoiding concentrated sweets and low value carbohydrates. I found out about a month into my new program that I started just in time as I had all the markers for pre-diabetes. Join me in my journey to health!
