Commitment to Quality of Life

The whole health care arena has changed so drastically over my nursing career, that I would LOVE to be able to get out of it and start in a whole new profession (can you say personal organizer?).  Unfortunately, the cost of living and debts prevent me from changing careers this late in life.  Health care has become wealth care where places want money up front first before rendering care, and established patients are turned away from their primary care providers because of insurance issues.  It's rather disgusting to a nurse who entered the health care profession so many years ago in order to actually help and care for patients.  Up until a few years ago, I would have professed that if I started over, I would certainly be a nurse, but I can't say that anymore.  :(
