I Need To Say No Without Feeling Guilty

We can't do everything! We need to learn how to say No without feeling guilty about it sometimes. The next time someone asks you to do something, take a moment pause, take stock, and ask yourself if you are already stretched thin. If so, then please say no and don't feel guilty about it. Just because you are talented doesn NOT mean that you have to do everything.Let that task get delegated to someone who may have to learn how to do it, so that next time that person can be asked, because hopefully they will know how to do it better by then, and if not, someon else can learn. Moments like this are when we can really take the opportunity to focus on self love and unburden yourself from unnecessary stresses. I am going to commit to saying "No" at least once this week.

My mom always said I might be able to say NO! when I'm 50, well I'm not 50 yet, and yes it's hard to say NO! LOL
It can be hard romogaleano‍ Sometimes I will say thank you for thinking of me but I'm not available and wish them the best. A half-hearted commitment does not truly benefit either party. It will take time to get more comfortable with "no" but you have to start somewhere!
I have a big problem saying no , in my professional and personal life too, it is not easy!!!
I am slowly becoming more comfortable with saying no without feeling like I have to explain myself. I need to do this more, especially when life is pulling me in a million directions.
I have problems saying NO... For some reason, I find myself behind my schedule because I say YES to everybody when they request my assistance. It is a problem because later on I feel bad about myself and my own work. I should not be doing it. It is something that I want to work and set a goal to leave this feelings of guiltiness behind, at least for this week!!!
This is one of the bigest things I struggle with as a nursing student, and it's good to know I'm not alone!
Always
Pamela Goring‍ This is great to hear! Work will be there tomorrow!
I'm learning that there is always one more thing to do.  I am saying "NO" pack things up and get to the gym and home to hubby at a decent hour rather than do overtime.
As Nancy Reagan used to say, "Just Say No!"
