Commitment to physical activity

Published
During nursing school it can get very easy to overindulge in “rest times” due to exhaustion and stress. However, it is proven that we need at least 30 minutes of exercise each day. I commit to go on a 30 min walk each day to promote better physical health and better coping for stress.

My Physical Activity Commitment Goal: I commit myself to at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity, such as power walking or elliptical, 3-5 times a week. Commitment Wall: “I pledge to prioritize physical activity for myself by making time in my schedule  for at least 30 minutes of moderate cardio 3-5 times a week to improve my overall health and help decrease my level of stress." --Patricia Ann, RN
