Movin despite all the "itis"

MRI results are back and survey says-- arthritis, partially torn thingamababobbers, torn other-thingamabobbers, cysts, blah blah blah. So I was tossed from a horse 11 months ago and fractured my acetabulum which winds up coming with "extra surprises" such as traumatic arthritis. It's been painful and literally debilitating, as in I lost alot of 'bility and gained a bunch of Lbs. It's good to know that there's some mechanical problems in my hip, but I know there's probobly no easy answer, no surgery that's going to "cure" this arthrits. Movement is my friend!
Mt Cube was my first little big hike and yes, my hip hurt more and got stiff. BUT I have felt SOOO much better about life since getting more exercise out of doors.
So, my committment is to continue to hike once a week, and increase fitness by walking in the neighborhood twice per week, and spinning once a week.
Any one else dealing with post-injury recovery?
