Reality check time: How is your work-life balance? Research shows that 48% of Americans consider themselves to be workaholics. Those who don’t maintain a healthy work-life balance likely burn out faster than those who do.

An unhealthy work-life balance happens when work takes over, causing problems for your well-being. Your work-life balance may need some adjustments if you feel like you are:
  • Always working
  • Neglecting your personal life
  • Burnt out
  • Not taking care of yourself
  • Having trouble with relationships

Constantly working long hours, even on weekends, and not getting enough rest or personal time is a warning sign that work is getting too much focus. If you sacrifice relationships, hobbies, and fun activities because of work, that's a red flag. Feeling completely exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally due to stress and work pressure is another.

All these signs, especially not exercising, getting enough sleep, or having free time, can harm your physical and mental health. Luckily, this challenge is designed to help you establish healthy work-life balance habits to nip this problem in the bud.
