Not ready for pet ownership?  You can still add animals to your life to boost your happiness and reduce stress.

Try these ideas:
  • Volunteer at an animal shelter
  • Sign up to be a dog walker or pet sitter through Wag, Rover, or similar apps
  • Offer to walk a neighbor’s dog or care for their pets whenever they’re away
  • Foster a dog or cat
  • Train a service dog or therapy animal
