We hope after 10 days of this #healthynurse Step Up and Reconnect Challenge, you’re feeling energized and socialized. You’ve been incorporating movement and quality time with loved ones into your daily routine, and it’s bound to have positive effects on your health.

Use today to segue into a new chapter of rejuvenating movement — don’t stop now. Consider these ideas to keep getting your steps in each day:
  • Have a fitness scavenger hunt
  • Volunteer at local animal shelter to walk dogs
  • Volunteer to clean up a local park or waterfront
  • Train for a 5K
  • Do yoga or tai chi in the woods

Do you have your own ideas to add more movement into your life? It all depends on what you and your loved ones enjoy doing, and there’s no wrong choice.
