Capture A Flag

Welcome to day 4 of the Stride-and-Seek Challenge, Powered by Humana!
Remember the classic childhood game called capture the flag? Today, let’s get into that same kind of mindset during your walk or jog. While you don’t have to physically “capture” it, we’re on the hunt for a flag.
Summer is a patriotic time of year since Independence Day falls right in the heart of it. But it’s not just American or state flags displayed prominently outside people’s homes or businesses. It’s also common to see flags from favorite colleges, sports teams, or organizations.
Today during your outdoor walk or jog, keep a lookout for any kind of flag. You’re sure to spot at least one (unless you’re walking on a trail or other scenic location). If you need to, alter your route to include an area where you think you’ll find a flag. BONUS: This might help you get in some extra steps.
Don’t forget proof! When you spot one, document it with a photo. Show us by posting a video or photo in the challenge update thread here, in our private Facebook group, or on Twitter, or Instagram and tag us with #healthynurse.
Missed day 3? Catch up here. Join us on day 5.
