Time It Out
Are you a planner? If you prefer to get organized in advance, you’ll enjoy today’s tip.
Divide your daily hydration goal into mini goals throughout the day. For example, let’s say you’re aiming to drink 90 ounces of water per day. You can break that into 9 opportunities to drink 10 ounces each time.
Now that you know how many times you need to drink water, spread those opportunities throughout day. Set an alarm on your phone or smartwatch that pings you when it’s time to drink your next 10 ounces. This not only helps you remember to take a drink, but it also makes your daily goal feel more attainable and less intimidating. After all, you probably don’t want to have to guzzle 30 ounces of water before bedtime. Stay on track by planning and timing out your ounces in advance.
