Ice Ice Baby!
During the summer, there’s something special about a frozen treat. Ice is an easy, alternative way to hydrate yourself if cold water isn’t cutting it.
Grab yourself a BIG cup of ice and chew or suck on the ice throughout the day. Crunching on ice pieces can also satiate yourself and eliminates excess calories that come from boredom snacking. However be careful not to chew too much, as the crunch is tough on your enamel and can damage your teeth.
Have some extra time? Tonight, sass up your ice ahead of time for tomorrow. Blend fruit and pour into an ice tray to freeze overnight, or try sliced fruit with herbs. Here are some recipes to try for a tasty alternative to regular ice.
We want to see you with your water! Take a selfie and share it with us in the challenge update section here. in our private Facebook group, or on Twitter, or Instagram, then tag us with #healthynurse.
