There’s something calming about knowing you’re not alone. Maybe it’s the sense of camaraderie, or the reassurance that someone else understands what you’re going through (because they’re going through it, too.) Either way, research shows that social connections help improve mental health.
Today, don’t exercise alone. Invite a friend, family member, or even a coworker to join you. Whether it’s another walk outside, a quick jog, a group exercise class, or even a trip to the local gym — bring a buddy. Enjoy the time together as you both improve the health of your bodies and minds.
