Move With A Mantra!
Published
Welcome to day 9 of the Mindful Movement challenge, powered by Humana!
When you exercise today, do it with a positive mind. Choose a special mantra to repeat inside your head as you work out. No matter what you do — whether it’s going for a jog, doing an online workout, riding a bicycle, or enjoying a walk outside — do it while repeating an optimistic phrase.
Think of something motivating or something that makes you smile. If you can’t think of something, say to yourself:
- I am always improving.
- I am strong and wise.
- Challenges are opportunities to grow and improve.
- I make a difference by showing up every day and trying my best.
- I can do hard things.
- I am grateful for my body’s ability to move.
When you develop a positive inner voice while exercising, you’re boosting your own self-compassion and motivation. You’re focusing on improving not just your physical body, but your mental and emotional health. Try to maintain this level of positivity moving forward.
Remember: All HNHN members have access to a free one-year trial of the Headspace app. Use the app to incorporate more positive thinking into your day.
