Depending on where you live, there’s sure to be healthy fall foods nearby. Look for items like:
These plant-based foods provide essential vitamins and minerals our bodies need, like fiber, potassium, vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and more. Incorporate some of these fall favorites into your next meal for added nutrition.
As you hunt for this season’s freshest finds, remember to do plenty of walking. Stroll the aisles or do a full loop around all the vendors and produce stands. If you go to a fruit orchard, spread out among the trees to find different varieties. Look for ways to increase your steps. The health benefits of today’s task are twofold: You get exercise and some healthy fruits and veggies!
