It’s day 2 of the Don't Get Stuck challenge. Today's tip is to activate safety features on SIP devices. It’s not enough to use safer sharps, you also have to activate the safety features.

According to EPINet® data, of those who say they sustained an injury, only 30 percent said that they were using a safety-designed device. And of that 30 percent, 60 percent said they did not activate the safety feature.  

Today (and every day), always opt for SIP devices and activate the safety features before use.
