Focus On One Thing At A Time

We’re nurses (aka masters of multitasking). Sometimes multitasking is a necessity, but whenever you can, especially at home, try to focus on one thing at a time:
  • Be fully present. No scrolling while out or visiting with family and friends.
  • When speaking to a patient or colleague, fully listen to that person, maintaining eye contact.
  • Increase your mindfulness practices.
