Add A Period Of Quiet Or Stillness Into Your Day

It's day 8 of the Screen Time Detox challenge!
Insert some much needed down-time into your routine. Use that break to assess what electronic devices concern you the most and decrease your overall quality of life-what makes you feel fulfilled versus what drains you. Try plan for a break tonight or at some point in the day tomorrow.
- Instead of watching TV until you fall asleep, lie in silence for a few minutes before drifting off. If you need some distraction to quiet your mind, consider a book, meditation, or prayer!
- Turn off music or podcasts during your commute so you can reflect on what’s to come and how your shift went.
- Exercise without headphones or television so you can concentrate on YOU.
