Do Some Standing Push-ups
Published
Today is day 9 of the Work (Out) From Home challenge, powered by Humana!
Have a few seconds to spare between caring for patients? Use your desk or nurse’s station to do standing push-ups. Follow these steps:
- Stand about an arm’s length away from the desk, table, or nurse’s station
- Put your hands on the edge of the counter and lean forward
- Slowly push yourself back away from the counter
- Repeat
You spend all day on your feet and legs, so don’t neglect your arms! Use this quick arm workout to strengthen your biceps, triceps, and shoulders. This one works at home too, armchair athletes!
