Spot The Autumn Animals

Published
Depending on where you live, there’s so much wildlife that comes out in the fall. Many species are busy gearing up for winter during the fall harvest season. Whether it’s squirrels gathering acorns, bears feasting on berries, or birds flying south — they’re all in preparation mode.

During your walk today, stay alert for autumn animals. This could include:
  • Barn owls
  • Deer
  • Foxes
  • Rabbits
  • Squirrels or chipmunks

If you see one, be careful not to disturb the wildlife and remain a safe distance away.

As you search for signs of life, soak up all the sights and sounds of nature. Listen to the wind blowing through the trees. Feel the crunch of the leaves underneath your feet. Try to stay present in the moment and push other thoughts out of your mind.

Don’t forget to document your find! After your walk is complete, share it with us in our update thread hereprivate Facebook group, or on Twitter, or Instagram. Tag us with #healthynurse.
