Spot A Scarecrow

A scarecrow’s purpose is to deter animals from eating a farmer’s crops. Even though modern-day farmers might use sprays or fences more often than scarecrows, they’re still a staple in fall décor.
As you trek outside for your daily stroll, try to spot a scarecrow. Pay close attention to fields and farms, but also people’s outdoor decorations. As you scan the scenery for this fall fellow, try to scare away any thoughts you have about work, stressors, or to-do lists — like a scarecrow frightens animals from a farmer’s fields.
