Congratulations, you made it to the last day of the Calm Your Inner Chaos Challenge! We hope you’re feeling less stressed and more relaxed.

Let’s end this challenge by learning to let go of stressors that weigh you down. We want you to give yourself a clean slate. As we mentioned earlier, you can’t eliminate stress — it’s a natural part of life — but you can change the way you cope with it. One healthy coping mechanism is to shed excess stressors that you don’t need.

Sometimes holding on to a challenging memory or negative experience can weigh you down. This holds you back and limits your potential. Today, spend a few minutes reflecting on a burden you’re carrying. Imagine what it would be like to let it go:
  1. Close your eyes and visualize placing your burden in a small box.
  2. Imagine putting your burden box on a green leaf and placing it in a stream of water.
  3. When you’re ready, allow yourself to release your grip and send it down the stream.
  4. Follow it with your eyes while it floats away, until it vanishes in the distance.

Not all burdens are necessary. Learning to identify which ones you can release is an important skill in calming your inner chaos.
