Wouldn’t it be great if everything you’ve learned and done over the past 10 days could stick with you for years to come?

That’s the goal of every challenge — that the efforts gradually become habits you can lean on for life. After all, the benefits of mindful eating don’t carry much weight if you only do it once.

Make mindful eating and moderation a daily ritual. Continue using these methods moving forward:
  1. Create a calming pre-meal routine: Before you eat, spend some time transitioning from your demanding work environment to a more mindful and relaxed state. It could be as simple as a brief breathing exercise or a moment of gratitude before you eat. This ritual signals to your body that it's time to focus on nourishment.
  2. Intentional eating during breaks: If possible, step away from your workstation, find a quiet spot, and savor each bite. Avoid screens and distractions during these moments to fully engage with your food. Take your time sipping on a hydrating beverage, too.
