Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are sensitive topics. Having conversations about them can feel intimidating. But being open to talking about these issues fosters understanding, empathy, and allyship.
Today’s goal is to start a conversation with a colleague about DEI. Approach the discussion with an open mind and a willingness to listen to their perspective. Ask questions to gain insight into their experiences and viewpoints. Most of all, prepare to learn and grow from the exchange.

- Once they’re done talking, ask thoughtful questions to gain clarity and dive deeper.
- Comment on what you've learned from the conversation.
- Thank your colleague for sharing their insights with you.
