Tap To Balance Your Energy
Published
It is day 7 of the FulFILL Your Cup challenge, powered by CeraVe.
You may have heard of acupressure, but have you heard of psychological acupressure? It’s commonly referred to as tapping, and it’s also known as emotional freedom technique (EFT). Tapping is designed to treat physical pain and emotional distress.
This form of meditation is a great way to re-center yourself when you’ve lost your sense of purpose. For many people, tapping creates a balance of energy in the body and mind. The technique is still being researched, but it’s often used to treat people with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Proponents of this technique say that light tapping on certain points of the body, called meridian points, can help lower stress and flush out negative emotions. Could this meditation method work for you in relieving some of your stress and rejuvenating your love of nursing?
