Congratulations on completing the first week of the Everyday Vacations challenge!

Tonight, grab a notebook, piece of paper, or even your smartphone and jot down your thoughts. In just 10 to 15 minutes, you can experience the therapeutic benefits of journaling, which include: 

  • Stress reduction: Journaling allows you to release pent-up emotions and process stressful events, reducing their emotional impact. Emotional release: It's a safe space to express your feelings, helping you understand and cope with them better.
  • Self-reflection: Journaling can improve self-awareness, leading to personal growth and development.
  • Problem-solving: Writing down your thoughts and concerns often leads to solutions and a sense of control.
  • Goal setting: Journaling helps you clarify your goals and create action plans to achieve them.

Take a few minutes to reflect, gain clarity, and nourish your well-being. Choose one of these journal prompts, then start writing: 

  • "Today, I am grateful for ..." 
  • "A challenge I faced and how I overcame it ..." 
  • "My favorite moment today ..." 
  • "A small act of kindness I can do for myself ..." 
  • "What I love about my work as a nurse is ..." 
  • "One thing I'm proud of accomplishing today ..." 
  • "A person who positively influenced my day and why ..."
