Your Action for Today
Look around and find common objects you can use to add more weight to your exercises. Here are a few ideas:
- Water bottles for bicep curls: Don’t have hand weights? Grab 2 full water bottles and use them as weights. Hold the bottles in your hands, palms facing up, and slowly lift them toward your shoulders. Repeat 10-15 times.
- A backpack for squats: Fill a backpack with books or other heavy items, then wear it while doing squats. This adds extra resistance to your workout, helping to build lower body strength. Focus on keeping your back straight.
- A towel for rows: Take a sturdy towel, grip it with both hands, and mimic the motion of rowing. Pull the towel tight, keeping your arms close to your body. This exercise engages your back and arm muscles.
