I am going to stop making excuses for why I don't eat healthfully. If my options are junk or go hungry, I will go hungry until I can choose something healthful. I have had a minor health concern in the last year and friends with major health concerns, so it is time to make better choices.

I am taking portion control, and eating more fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. I will cut back bread and will add on more whole grain or whole wheat products.

I have been a binge eater for 45 years and recently completed 4 weeks of residential treatment. Haven't binged in more than 2 months and have a whole new outlook after excellent, intensive therapy (and no med changes!)! I CAN DO THIS!

I commit to increasing my fruit & vegetable intake to 5 servings/day.

I will commit to not adding any additional sugar to cereals or foods, any additional salt to already cooked foods or any butter to things that do not require butter. Also will drink only water (1 gallon daily), no diet soda, no alcohol and no foods that are processed.

I commit to following the Daniel Plan plate. Minimize falling off Daniel plan plate during social events (meals, sugar and alcohol).  Figure out how to incorporate plate at social events.
