Commitments
As a full-time working Mama to four kiddos, I struggle to get enough rest/sleep. My husband and I are "night people". As a lupus patient, I constantly feel exhausted. I need to be more intentional to go to bed at a "normal" time, considering my schedule the next day. I am motivated!
I have a tendency to sleep a few hours, then wake up.I am going to focus on techniques to stay asleep.
I am someone that was raised with a "rest" = LAZY I know I need rest, but I find it difficult to make the time to rest. When and how do you rest?
I commit to creating a better environment for restful sleep. Nice linens, dark environment and no electrical items in my bedroom (especially no TV or cell phone). I also commit to meditate a minimum of 10 minutes a day to encourage restfulness and improve sleep.
I often get only 6 hours of sleep per night except weekends when I usually get 9. I feel so much better when I get 8-9 hours, so I need to focus on trying to consistently get 8 hours of sleep and not just on the weekends when I'm not working.
I want to make a commitment to getting to bed at an earlier time to ensure that I am getting at least 8 hours of sleep per night. I just don't want to waste my time sleeping!! So much to do and not enough time.
I want to commit to getting more sleep at night—closer to 7 hrs, which is what I think would be of benefit to my health
I have not made getting the full 8 hours of sleep a priority in my life. So starting with tonight I am going to sleep early and long!
I plan to put more effort into finding ways to fall asleep and stay asleep during my work rotations.
I commit to getting at least 8 hours of sleep per night.
