I am attempting to eat more veggies, fruits, and lean meats while avoiding white breads, starches and sugars. I will work on eating a more balanced diet and increase my grains, veggies and fruits.

I do a lot of my work on the computer and cannot seem to resist snacking on sweet and salty snacks.  I commit to decrease the amount of snacking I do by at least 75% in the next month.  I will increase the amount of healthy snacking I do by having a piece of fruit or a small piece of cheese or other protein in it's place.

I will make more mindful decisions when it comes to food choices. 

I am making the committment to increase the fruit and vegetables in my diet each day!

This summer, because of the great produce available, I am ordering a bag of produce (randomly selected by farm) for my family.  I am learning to cook new vegetables.  So, hopefully, we will have some recipes that carry over to the fall and winter!  My challenge is what to do with all the squash!

Working multiple sites makes my meals and my husband's more grab and go - I have started cooking once a week and making all my week's meals at once -including fruits, veggies, breakfasts, and mains in "bento boxes" and storing in fridge. I just grab for the day from each pile and go. Hubby can grab as he goes... or when we share a meal, we grab and eat at home. ...
